At Face Value: Issues with Stereotypes

In this learning activity, learners will reflect on the meaning and impact of stereotypes in both personal relationships and work environments. Identifying behaviors, attitudes, and feelings associated with stereotypes are addressed in this activity.
In this animated activity, learners examine how organs are visualized in three dimensions. The terms “longitudinal,” “cross,” “transverse,” “horizontal,” and “sagittal” are defined. Students test their knowledge of the location of abdominal pelvic cavity organs in two drag-and-drop exercises.
